The Miss Connecticut Scholarship Foundation kicked off their 2008 Scholarship Fund drive in February with each board member charged with selling 80th Anniversary Leaves for the 80th Jubilee Scholarship Tree. Each leaf represents an $80 donation and for any donation over the $80 mark would be represented by a Golden Acorn. All donations are earmarked to the Scholarship Fund.
At the March Board Meeting on Sunday the 9th several leaves and acorns where seen sprouting from the tree. By May we hope to have the tree in full bloom. All donations will be recognized in the 2008 Souvenir Miss Connecticut Program Book.
Any one interested in donating a leaf or acorn please contact a member of the Miss Connecticut Board of Directors.
